How to Knit Moss Stitch - Snufflebean Yarn

Learn how to knit Moss Stitch with me.

From the same family of stitches as Seed Stitch, moss stitch is completely reversable and follows an easy four row pattern repeat.

Stitches Used

Foundation Row: Cast on an ODD number of stitches.

Row 1: *k1, p1* Repeat from *to* until one stitch remains, k1

Row 2: *p1, k1* Repeat from *to* until one stitch remains, p1

Row 3: Repeat Row 2

Row 4: Repeat Row 1

Rest of Project: Repeat rows 1-4 until project is desired size.

Final Row: Cast off ion a Row 4, in same k1, p1 repeat.
