How to Crochet the Trinity Stitch
Learn how to crochet the Trinity Stitch with me! This simple one row repeat produces a stitch pattern that creates a piece with beautiful texture and a lovely dense fabric. This makes it perfect for projects like dishcloths or washcloths!

Stitches Used:
- ch – chain
- sc – single crochet
- sc3tog – single crochet 3 together
Foundation Row:
- Chain an EVEN number of Stitches
Row 1 (Setup Row):
- Work sc into 2nd ch from hook
- Place hook back into same ch as 1st sc and draw up a loop (2 loops on hook)
- Place hook into next ch and draw up a 2nd loop (3 loops on hook).
- Place hook into next ch along and draw up a 3rd loop (4 loops on hook).
- Yarn over and draw through ALL 4 loops on hook.
- ch1.
- Repeat steps 2-6 along entire row, always drawing up the 1st loop from the same chain as the final loop of the previous stitch.
- After final sc3tog DO NOT CH1. Instead work sc into final ch immediately after finishing the sc3tog.
- ch1. TURN.
Row 2 (Repeat Row):
- Sc into 1st Stitch
- Place hook back into same place as 1st sc and draw up a loop (2 loops on hook)
- Place hook into next stich and draw up a 2nd loop (3 loops on hook).
- Place hook into next stitch along and draw up a 3rd loop (4 loops on hook).
- Yarn over and draw through ALL 4 loops on hook.
- Ch1
- Repeat steps 2-6 along entire row, always drawing up the 1st loop from the same stitch as the final loop of the previous stitch.
- After final sc3tog DO NOT CH1. Instead work sc into final ch immediately after finishing the sc3tog.

Changing Colour
Changing colour is a simple process, you just need to work your finish the final SC of the row with the new colour, and then carry on as normal.
